Default Upper Severn, Caersws

The Fish Wales graph for the Upper Severn at Caersws says it's just above the summer mean, as at 5am this morning.

Can anyone tell me if this is accurate? Is the Caersws graph dependable? Thinking of heading out tomorrow (Tues).

Fished The Dee below Llangollen on Sunday and conditions were a tad testing.

Thanks
Kev

Kev,
Not sure about the graph I'm sorry but I'd be wary of coming over here tomorrow. The forecast isn't too clever and there's a weather warning in place for snow. Anything upto 12" by the looks of it.

Hi All

Don't know where they are getting their figures from, it was at the top of it's banks yesterday, did't see it today, but with all the snow melt and rain we had on Fri and Saturday, it won't be no where near summer hieght.

Hi All.

I would say the river is around a good 12" + over summer level, so I would say the gauge isn't spot on.

At 5am the graph was bob on the summer mean, so not convinced it's accurate.

I ended up going East instead of West and had a good day's fishing on The Dove instead.

Thanks all.

Kev

Does anyone have any up to date info on how the upper Severn is fishing?

I'm thinking of a trip out to Caersws soon and any news appreciated.
