Had a couple of hours on the Wear today and had my first Grayling,well pleased and hooked, can't wait till next weekend river levels pemiting.
Any advice gladly taken as its my first season on the rivers and i would hope to catch a few more.

I have Yet to still land my first Grayling lol, i;ve hoked 3 or 4 in the last 2 trips but didn't manage to get them in, one of them was approaching the 1 lb mark so i wanted to get it in the most

Cheers SBNo1 it was only a few ounces not near your 1lb fish but it made my day i then dropped another around 10 inches.I am still smiling now,hope you break ya duck soon.
