Question Any Flyfishing rivers/streams around Birmingham?

I would appreciate a bit of guidance. I need to move to Birmingham soon and I have to leave Taff behind. But I would not really like to give up the flyfishing on the regular basis if I just don't have to.
So If anyone could give me some advices on this I would be very pleased.
Thanks.

Quite a few of the guys in Leek and District seem to come from around Birmingham. I think it's about an hour to travel but there's some great stretches.

I'm sure there's a waiting list now though.

Cheers

Leek and District is not too far away, probably around an hour from Brum. If you are interested I fish the River Sence, near Snarestone around 25/30 mins from Brum.

If you are interested then drop a note to the secretary on their website Gopsall Fishing Club and he will get back to you with details, etc.

If you want to have a nose around then drop me a PM and I will organise to take you on my guest ticket for the day.

Thanks for everybody. I thought I should already give up my passion, but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good to know that there are always some fellows in the water everywhere I will get in touch with You Matt.
