Default Grayling fishing canterbury area?

Lo' all

Going to be in the Southeast for work early next week - have Tuesday off so thought I might bring a rod along - can anyone recommend somewhere in reasonably close distance to the Canterbury area where I can get a day ticket? I'd be after a beautiful stretch of river more than a guaranteed catch.

Thanks in advance

Mike

Default Grayling near Canterbury

I havn't got any good news for you - as the only river that is near Canterbury is the Stour - a large majority of this is run by Mid Kent Fisheries ( you could give them a call ) and the rest of the river i think is run by syndicates - boringly exclusive. Not sure if there's any public fishing on any banks or not. There are some stillwaters in and around Ashford - but these are easy to find on the web.

Thanks Paul - I've got the car, so pretty much anywhere between London and the coast would do - does that increase my options?

best
