Default Ty-Newydd & Gromain 25 Sep

5 of us fished these two beats on the Wye on 25th Sep. It was hard work! Between us we had about 40 fish, but 37 of those were very small trout. A couple of decent grayling and a trout of about 1lb came late on. We caught on a variety of methods, all mine came to spiders fished downstream, plenty came to small dries and the decent trout to a heavy nymph. It was also very tricky wading with the rocks covered in loose brown slime - 3 of us went in!

Regards

Peter
