Default River Reports/Updates

With the popularity of this section we feel the time has come to give specific rivers their own sub forums as we have for the Taff and Welsh Dee as above.

We would then like to put in some standard sticky threads to help control these river forums and would propose introducing sticky threads such as General Discussion, Fishery Reports/Catches, Fishing Conditions and Tackle Requirements. Perhaps Fishing Clubs?

Members can of course then add any thread they would like as now.

All ideas welcome on this and we will then set up a standard format for all key rivers. Basically we would like your input on the main threads you would like started.

It woudl be great to have a section for Leek and District - that we can start threads in.

Agreed, however, judging by my thread for West Wales rivers lunchtime yesterday & 80 odd 'hits' in 24 hours, with no takes, you have to hope that the punters out there have computers & know that the forum exists.
Despite this, the answer is definitely YES.
We all have an interest in how other areas are fishing &, given the chance, would love to cast a line on someone else's patch.
GOOD LUCK - POB HWYL.

I've been advised that the EA's proposed plans to put real time water level information from about 1,800 of their river monitoring sites onto their website has been been postponed form the end of May until the end of June.
