Not caught any salmon at my end - but lots of nice browns and the odd rainbow, best fished when running off after a good downpour

This river has caught my attention so to speak, a couple of questions for anyone who might be in the know.

1) does anyone know if I would be able to fish below the club water? I see the club who have the rights to the water does not have the rights once the river flows past the housing at the bottom of Cambuslang (or Hamilton road I am not too sure) road. No one seems to have the rights below this point from there to where it flows behind the golf range and down into the clyde so would this be covered with a Clyde permit?

2) Is this the same river which is referred to as the 'Rotten Calder'? (just incase I am getting the two mixed up lol) And if so does anyone have a good source for information on the north Calder? The North is the one, I think, That flows round the other side of Blantyre and round to the back of Daldowie cemetry.

Thanks for any help and cracking site you lads have here.
