Had a cracking day yesterday... Went to collect tickets from Hillsborough for the Wednesday v Barnsley game and decided on a few hours of 'free' fishing... had over a dozen Browns to 1.5lbs and similar number of Grayling of hand size... mainly on the Black Ram GH 12's and Para Adams 16's ...

Ay up m8t i'm in sheffield and a wednesday fan where about's did yer fish? i'v been looking at the don at least i think its the don behind the dog track but a bit further up above coopers but i hav'nt cast a fly yet

Can you post again, I'd like to know? I learned my fly fishing on the Rivelin and Loxley in the days when you only ever saw sticklebacks in the Don. I am going to get up and fish it one fine day, I used to wander round the back of the factories when I lived on Kelvin (!) and could see then it had great potential. Too bad you are a wednesday fan
