Thumbs down kelvin contact numbers

as an avid member of the kelvin angling association, i have my right to be concerned for the river and its returning salmon and sea-trout ,for one i or any other member of the association ,,oh actually i dare say some of the guys (Freinds) have these numbers, but to have bailiff's with mobile phones and no way of contacting them is just amateurish in many ways and leaves the river open to this constant barrage of combat style fishing ,with multiple rods and set lines ,and yes i can approach and request membership etc!! and advise they are breaking rules ,but that is the end of the line and if only i had bailiff numbers then further steps could be taken to rid the system of this vast problem.

and with fish now running, it is only going to get worse i am hoping that putting this up on as big and talked about forum as this it well help things move a good bit quicker, as after all this is in the interest of our migratory salmon and sea trout, which must be so fragile in a river like the kelvin and if allowed to continue ,well it really doesn't bare thinking about guys.

the only reason Ive heard of is their would be wind up calls ,sort it by only receiving calls with number of caller given and reject anonymous callers but thats the only reason Ive heard though not from a bailiff himself from someone close to a few and the really annoying thing is friend's have these numbers i believe ,,,not mine but bailiff friend's ,,ahhhh come on we need those numbers or at least head bailiff's number. for action to be taken

This sounds like a very odd situation, have you contacted your club secretary and raised it at your clubs AGM etc etc.

You can also call the police about poaching and report incidents on the EA incident line.

i'd expect most bailifs would welcome a few extra eyes on the river, if its a problem with personal numbers it may be worth suggesting they give bailifs a contact phone and give out a hotline number.

You'd be better asking on the Kelvin Forum or PM Alistair or the Secy .

Go to my forum http://urbanflyfisher.com/forum/ for some reason you never post there even though it is the place that most Kelvin business is discussed!

Make the post there and the secretary will get back to you!

As I have said in my emails to you the club are aware of the difficulties you highlighted -

Additionally maybe you should check this thread out:
http://urbanflyfisher.com/forum/the-...-more-rumours/

If you see guys set lining then you can also phone the police as this is against the law - I look forward to hearing how you get on.
