as an avid member of the kelvin angling association, i have my right to be concerned for the river and its returning salmon and sea-trout ,for one i or any other member of the association ,,oh actually i dare say some of the guys (Freinds) have these numbers, but to have bailiff's with mobile phones and no way of contacting them is just amateurish in many ways and leaves the river open to this constant barrage of combat style fishing ,with multiple rods and set lines ,and yes i can approach and request membership etc!! and advise they are breaking rules ,but that is the end of the line and if only i had bailiff numbers then further steps could be taken to rid the system of this vast problem.
and with fish now running, it is only going to get worse i am hoping that putting this up on as big and talked about forum as this it well help things move a good bit quicker, as after all this is in the interest of our migratory salmon and sea trout, which must be so fragile in a river like the kelvin and if allowed to continue ,well it really doesn't bare thinking about guys.
