Default River Teviot

Hi all,

looks like I might be getting a day on the River Teviot near Jedburgh (WEATHER PERMITTING) and I was wondering if there was any tip or reports from forum menbers who have fished it recently.

Cheers

DrDoug

hi dr d its about 2syear since i fished the teviot - for grayling in Jan but on talking with some of the local angllers there are planty of good grayling to 3lbs in the Jed AA water just above the bridge on the A 68 where it joins a road to HAWICK The river has alovely flow for fly fishing and is safely wadeable - with a gravel bottom and few boulders. WHEN i FISHED THERE WER 2 jED ANGLERS WADING AND FISHING CZECH nymphs - a guess but they were only using about 15ft of line. Ive not fished it for salmon but there were quite a no showing in Jan
hope tha helps a little
