Cannot tell you 100 percent, but if its anything to go by the Gavenny was clearing up this afternoon on my way home from work.... Obviously you are a salmon man and I say string your rod up and don your waders my friend???

Not able to get over till Friday, but hopefully the rain will have bought some fish up into the pools.

River rose well last week has brought quite a few fish into the system unfortunately many are coloured as is the case with the Usk at this time of year, a few clean fish caught to around 8lbs. Bridge Pool at Abergavenny fishing quite well but hope you enjoy combat fishing!!!!

We actually had to switch to the Wye as we were unable to locate any spare rods.
