Still very nervous - I lost count of the times I turned fish, but must have been around 50. I pulled the fly out of the mouth of one monster (the one that got away!!) but other than that very little to show. A dace! and two tiny grayling. The hatch came on about 6pm with a few showing before that all day. Not a massive hatch but enough to turn the fish on. But very selective feeders and very wary. A frustrating day!
Thanks for responding Andy and maybe catch up with you there or on the Wye. I now live the other side of the 'Forest' from the Wye on the banks of the Severn below Gloucester.
