esk is on a distinguished road
Default Anyone fished the Esk at Musselburgh this year?

I've been down 2 or 3 times this year but I've never seen a trout never mind catch one.

I'm no great angler but I usually do okay. Has anyone had better luck than me?

Whilst looking on tinterweb I came across this thread on a bird watching site. They reckon the merganser is eating a bullhead. If this is true, it could help explain my lack of trout. This would be a disaster.

Thoughts gentlemen?
