Default Cumbrian Derwent

I'm salmon fishing on the Derwent for a couple of days next week.

Any news about how it is fishing? Did it get any of the rain that lifted the Annan this week?

Ghillie on my old beat says they have been plagued by low water and only had 30 salmon to end September. They had a fair bit of rain but the ground was so dry it was all soaked up.
