Default St Albans - River Lea Chalk Stream Hertfordshire

FYI the wild trout fishing on the river (stream) Lea in St Albans is getting good.

The guys at Redbounre trout lakes have done a lot of work on the chalk stream including netting the spawning runs to keep the herons from killing the spawning fish. I think that has helped the trout increase in numbers.

Hi

Just reading your thread; and wondered : 1, is it possible to join a club or association, to fly fish the river/stream Lea?

What is the cost, if any of the membership?

My daughter lives, and works at Tring Hertfordshire!!

When I visit her, I'm always on the look-out for somewhere to fish!!!

Any information would be appreciated!

Mostyn

The Lea runs through Harpenden. Presume you mean the Ver.
