Default river rother/canal chesterfield

Apparently there are brown trout present in the river rother and chesterfield canal in chesterfield has anybody fished here recently and caught any trout?

There are also trout in the Hipper and Holmebrook. The EA are supposed to be doing some tree removal around Queens Park and down to the Rother as part of their follow-up work to the flooding the last couple of years, so that mighht bring some other habitat benefits.

I have only seen 'no fishing' signs on the area around the Robinsons land, but some of the water further up looks interesting, though very overshaded. There are also a couple of substantial wiers....
