hi i was thinking of visiting the derwent at whatstandwell,and was wondering if anyone has fished it recently.

If you are a PAAS member have a look at the Message Board on their website as there has been quite a bit of posting on this stretch recently.

I did say if you were a member - clearly you are not and with the current waiting list it would take you at least 2 years to get in and be able to view the message boards and I guess the info would be a little out of date by then.

A lot of clubs these days keep catch information confidential to members if they publish it at all. I would be breaking the trust of the club if not the rules if I copied posts over to here.

However I can tell you that the posts were favourable and indicated good catches of trout recently.

wow that was some rain we had last night,anyone know what the water levels are like in the peaks???

great thats good news,i have just phoned the derwent hotel but they had no info,i was just deciding wheather a trip on the trent was on the cards,but if the levels hav`nt changed then i shall get my gear sorted out
