Hi all does anyone know if there is a website that you can get the river levels for the Wye around Bulith Wells?

Hi
Have you tried phoning Seth at the WUF?

The Wye and Usk Foundation

Their office is in Builth and he can look out of the window and tell you

I was up around Glasbury/Hay a week ago (canoeing: there, my dirty secret is out) and it was very low.

Tale of the weekend......

River needs a good spate to clear it out, exceptional ater clarity, but a load of silt weed on the bottom that stirred up into a soup.

One possible 2 salmon seen but nothing touched. ACW had fish of the weekend with a chub of 2lb or so.

Various birds, Dippers wagtails kingfisher and Buzzards added to the scenery and the Erwood Inn added to the rich tapestry of the weekend and is great value as well as providing good food.

Will be back when we have some rain!!!

I've just got back from two days on Gromain. Loads of fish but mainly tiddlers..about six that you might call reasonable and one beautiful Grayling..my first.

What a lovely beat that is.
