Default River Earn ~ Trinity Gask

06/08/06

As of Saturday morning the river continues to run at a low summer level, Light showers are forecast but it appears that until we have a continued period of raid prospects will remain poor. Now that we are into August it would be advisable to keep an eye on the weather forecast as when it does rain conditions could be excellent.

Newsflash ~ 7lb fresh fish caught at the Mount Stream by Alex Clegg

As of Tuesday morning the river continues to run at a fairly low summer level despite the recent rain which disappointingly didn't raise the river very much. With rain forecast towards the tail end of this it would be advisable to keep an eye on the river levels as when it does rain conditions could be excellent.

The recent heavy rain has allowed some fish to run in to the system and fish are starting to be caught on a regular basis however the general consensus of opinion is that the main run is still to come. With rain forecast at the start of next week it would be advisable to keep an eye on the river levels as when it does rain conditions could be excellent.

The river is currently at an excellent height with reports of fish running through. There has been several reports of fish being caught further upstream. Rain is forcast for the next few days so the river could be in excellent condition for the weekend.
