Default River Thames Reading

Not your usual venue but free and full of pike most of which are small up to 5lbs or so.

The water is very clear at the moment and plenty of fish are moving around weed beds.

Good spots down stream of the kennet mouth and kings meadow where there is plenty of room to cast providing you are careful. The fish are well used to boat traffic but the evenings seem best.

Big rubber lures working well

Go steady down by kennetmouth David, especially if you're on your own. Has been known to be a haunt for gangs/troublemakers in the past.
cheers
Al.
