What part of the Meon are you intending on fishing Steve?

South of the M27 , actually , the beat starts under the M27 .

Had a quick look at the upper Meon on monday at Meonstoke and it is desperately low although we did have a fair amount of rain up here (Farnham) last night! Who controls the stretch at Fareham?

Park Gate & District Royal British Legion (fly fishing section)

Fished the Meon for 2 hours this afternoon , caught a chub , Grayling & a couple of wildies , good fun .
The river was higher than last time i fished it .

Fished the Meon , today , falling level , Chub, Chub everywhere !!

Fished the Meon today , level still falling .
Caught a nice brownie 2lb+ and a Grayling .

Steve is this members only on this beat or are day tickets available, also, does it suffer badly from run off from the M27?

It`s members only .
I can`t say if does get effected by the M27 or not , it`s the only part of the clubs water that i never seem to blank , i always catch something , what ever the weather or hight of river . At the moment it`s the lowest i have ever seen it , there is a lot of silt , a good flood is needed to clear it and put some water in river . Also this year there is lots of Chub in river .
