The maps i got were photo copies of os maps, very bad photo copies very blured it was a struggle to make out where the river was never mind the exact locations, also there was no maps a couple of waters.

Next time you pay you membership or even if you already have paid up for this year give Mr Cloke a phone call and ask for some better maps. Or if you not sure ask for directions

Not all the water is mapped out because it’s self explanatory in the member’s book.
Like the Brompton on swale water,” park on the opposite side to the crown pub entry via lane, once you get down there its sign posted. How much clearer can it be than that?

Also you can look your fishing destinations up on google earth, cross reference with your o/s maps

i have never fished on the tees and it sounds like i am missing out , but i would not have a clue ware to start , i did stop in a small village near to hexam and a river ran through it am sure it was the tees , the only problem was i could not take my gear with me , ( family holiday ) it would be nice to get back there , but any advice ware to go would be real good thanks

the river you mention that ran through that village will not have been the tees, i think the river you mention might be the river tyne.

yes stokoe it was the tyne i stopped in alston just looked it up but the tees is still worth a go i am sure so i wiil hope to get some info still

i fish the tees and yes it is worth a go a lovely river to fish.
