any sewin caught on the taff yet?

Out Llandaff way on Tuesday , cracking looking water but no sign of any fish. Blanked. It seems the brown trout were partial to a large stoats tail though.


Salmon turning up in the fish trap allegedly.

Hi Folks.

You may have a wait for the sewin.

Was out with one of my boys on wednesday and had the pleasure,( for kieron the first time ) of watching them being taged and returned just up stream.

I wount tell you just how big they were, but my knees went a bit funny at the thought of the bend in a rod they would give

salmon about then, interseting - i haven't fished for sewin on the taff before, so when do they normally turn up?

They're in by May. They should be around now, it's a question of waiting till its dark really. A few have turned up to gold heads below Blackweir. I should be there now but I'm stuck to the computer yet again.

Being extremely lazy I have to ask whether anyone's been down to look at the water today? I'm out this evening.

It looks to be up a foot at least, not sure how coloured it is, had a look going passed in a car.

If I could get out there today I would give it a go.
