Week Ending 15/6/08
Individual Returns: J.Hetherington & R Bagnell (Newcastle) kept 8 fish weighing a total of 31lb. T Kinnaird (Crieff) kept 4 fish weighing a total of 14lb. M Corkish .(Alva) kept 2 fish weighing a total of 6lb 2oz. A Prentice (Clackmannan) kept 2 fish weighing a total of 6lb 8oz. D Simpson (Dunfermline kept 2 fish weighing a total of 6lb. J. Wilson (Coatbridge) kept 4 fish weighing a total of 12lb 8oz. Mr Wiseman (Dollar) kept 4 fish weighing a total of 12lb. Mr Drysdale (Edinburgh) kept 6 fish weighing a total of 20lb. T Allan (Dunblane) kept 3 fish weighing a total of 9lb. Mr Higgins & party (Perth) kept 7 fish weighing a total of 20lb 8oz.
Club Returns: Perthshire A/C Kept 10 fish weighing a total of 23lb 4oz. Morton A/C kept 20 fish weighing a total of 48lb 6oz – heaviest a 4lb rainbow. Doune A/C: Kept 24 fish weighing a total of 73lb. Glasgow Academicals: Kept 6 fish weighing a total of 18lb 6oz. Bothwell & Blantyre A/C: Kept 32 fish weighing a total of 86lb 2oz. Ferranti A/C: Kept 13 fish weighing a total of 33lb 8oz.. Kelty Artisans: Kept 12 fish weighing a total of 34lb 2oz – heaviest 4lb 14oz. Clatto & Stratheden: Kept 8 fish weighing a total of 16lb 6oz. St Fillans A/C: Kdept 6 fish eighing a total of 15lb 12oz – heaviest a 4lb rainbow.

Favourite Fly/Lure: The cool North wind has kept the fish down in the water this week forcing anglers to fish deeper than normal for this time of year. A variety of lures have been taking fish including Coral & Yellow Dancers, Fritz Olive Damsels and for those fishing smaller flies the Kate Maclaren. Sedgehog, Black Pennel and Bibios have been the most prolific.

Best Areas: South Shore from the start of the dogleg to the dam wall.

The River Frandy sounds well overstocked tigermoth.....its a good job all those people kept those fish.
Jees it must be difficult to find a fly in your box.

Anyhow......like the returns (when nobody does!) they can keep it.

Hey just noticed its got a shoreline.....perhaps its a lake........And the fishery manager posted his advert in the wrong place
