Patdaly is on a distinguished road
Thumbs down S.W. France - That's Yer Lot

Came back to the Lot this week hoping the rivers would be better than they were last month but if anything they are worse. Had a nice little adventure with the river Bave yesterday and decided to give up and revert to stillwaters . . . til my rod tip broke (Long and boring story in the General Flyfishing Forum).

Talking to angler friends and the local Peche shop nearly all the rivers in the Department are unfishable and even the stillwaters are very cloudy. Apparently today is the first day without rain (touch wood) since the beginning of May - but even French fishermen can exaggerate . Apparently there has been outbreaks of irritableness and unexplained pacing among the local population
