Default Fishing around Strontian - Scotland in Sept.

Having hopefully a nice break away with another couple in Strontian in September. Already ordered the Avon Skin so Soft stuff!

Anyone know where to fish? And what with at that time of the year?

From my research there aren't too many tackle shops in this area for info but quite alot of water according to OS. Would appreciate any advice from the forum.
Thanks in anticipation.

Default Fish Strontian

My social secretary and I plan to be in Strontian for two weeks com.16th Sept.Given the chance I hope to fish some of the beats on the Ardtornish Estate, Loch Shiel from a boat and the Lochs in the Moidart hills.
Have a look at :- www.fortwilliamfishing.com or get the fishing guide from
The Rod & Gun Shop, Fort William on 01397 702656 it used to cost just 75p.
SEa fishing from the rocks can be fun too.
Have a great holliday Loopy,
Rod.
P.S. Strontian, home of S.S.S. midge spray. Yes, it works!!!

Thanks Rod. That is great.
I called The Rod & Gun Shop but the guy said they were busy receiving stock so could I call back! Business must be brisk there. However, their site has given me some further pointers and I am grateful to you.
I trust that you have a good trip and thank you again.
Oh by the way the Avon lady just called with the spray!
