I'm off to the delights of Exmoor this weekend (30 May to 1 Jun) - does anyone know what condition is the East Lyn in? I intend to go for the wild brownies when not drinking cider at the Rockford Inn and eating cream teas at the Brendon House Hotel.

After this weeks rain it will be running fairly full but should be clear. The top end around Brendon Rockford should fish well.

Thanks guys - having seen the news on flash floods late last week, I decided not to visit and will save my trip to Exmoor for another weekend soon. I went to the Usk Town Water instead - river high and slightly coloured but 3 nice brownies on Copper John Nymphs. Apologies for not noting the West Country Rivers thread - one I will watch from now on.
