Too many to mention! You are in chalkstream country........

My advice would be get you name down for the Salisbury & District Angling Assoc (4 year waiting list) and then look in the back of Traout and Salmon for the various day ticket/syndicate options that are available

cheers

Jon

Little River Avon and Ozleworth Brook
Coln
Wiltshire Avon and Nadder

All the above have day tickets/ membership available, add 1/2 hour to your journey and you could then include the rivers of South Wales and the Monnow and it's tribs.

The Monnow and tribs would not be much more than an hour away and are freely available on day tickets through WUF and other sources. See the thread "Fishing the Monnow".

Join the SADAC membership as a coarse member (no waiting list) and get immediate access to some fantastic mixed fishing for trout/grayling and coarse species for the summer. Have seen trout to over 5lb returned on the waters around the town. Great fly fishing for pike in the winter too. Oh, and salmon on a couple of beats lower down the Avon (in season).

There is also the Bull Hotel water on the Glos. Coln at Fairford available on a day ticket.
