Default Day ticket Rivers

Hi

I am coming over from Ireland to fish back in blightey. I have a couple of days booked on the Wye and will probably fish the Wharfe. Any other suggestions (distance no further than 2hrs drive from Sheffield and no ticket dearer than £100)

Any suggestions welcome !

The Derwent immediately below Ladybower. Ask Alan Purnell for a ticket.

I think you can get a ticket at the Peacock without being a resident although they get priority.

You need breast waders. The fishing can be a bit too easy but it is a pleasant change to fish a spate river insead of a spring fed one. I rather like it. It also holds some specimen coarse fish...
