River has risen about 1 1/2 ft if i get the chance i'm out this week!

Had a copule of hours fishing on Friday evening, had one take on dusk, which was probably a brownie. Sadly saw no fish other than trout move. Have however spoken to one angler who saw some fish last week. It would appear there's more rain on the way this week as well.

Had a few hours this afternoon, caught only trout, but did get one probable sewin take. However there have been 2 sewin caught on Llandeilo water this week.

Which pools do you tend to fish Aled? I have had limited success at cobners & the baskets.

Stone Pool, Upstream of Stone Bridge in recent years since living in town.
But, Mostly the upper stretches e.g. Coedmawr, Downs etc, i was brought up in Manordeilo and these upper waters were closer for me than town water.I very rarely fish Baskets.
