I'm returning to flyfishing next season after some 10 year break. Never really been interested in Rainbows, just enjoy catching wildies out of loch Doon also the lanes which feed the loch. I'd like to have a go at river fishing. Anyone know if permits are available for the water of Girvan, above straiton, or River Stinchar in the Barr valley. Quite keen on small stream fishing, light lines and traditional flies. Any other waters like this in Ayrshire. Anyone know of any free fishing.
