Default River Fillan

I may be working for a while in the area between Tyndrum and Killin. Has anyone ever fished the Fillan around Tyndrum ?

I walked up it the other day and it looked very inviting. Would be interested to find out if its very fishy !!

Yes, also Loch Dochart, Loch Iubhair and the River Dochart below it. Trout in all and salmon at the back end of the season.

I've fished the fillan for trout a few times but nothing big, mainly parr. There are some deep holes that I'm sure must hold some bigger fish, just never managed to tempt them.
