Default Redbournbury Fishery, Nr St Albans

has anyone fished the chalk stream at Redbournbury Fishery?
£15 a day seems good.

any advice etc.

Good in the early part of the season. The fish are very wary. Position yourself well against skyline and sun. Not worth wading everything can be done from the bank. Call before going and note directions carefully - it is a bit tricky to find.
I take the odd novice to the stocked lake on the same site for stillwater fun. Enjoy.

Default St Albans Fly Fishing

Yes its a nice little stream with some great brown trout and a few escaped rainbows. Some very helpful regulars who'll give you tips on the best spots, flies, etc.

does anyone know how the lakes fishing at the moment, i've fished there a fair few times but never at this time of year
