This might seem like a slightly random question, but has anyone fished the River Whitewater in its upper reaches at Odiham? Any information on it would be great. If not whats the best way to approach someone to enquire about fishing oo their land?

Try p115 of the February T&S. Advert there for access to 2 miles of double bank fishing near Hook at £700 for 3 days a week. The contact number is 01252 842640. It might be worth looking to see if the small private club at Greywell is still in existence - I'll try to get hold of my previous contact, but I seem to remember that it was pretty expensive 5 years ago. Also, Orvis at Farnham may be able to help if you get no joy direct with landowners. Check your PMs.

No wonder they are advertising at £700 for 3 days a week! Would probably buy an awful lot of stockies. Agree with JayP, Farnborough and District is probably the way to go.

And if you manage to get any sense out of anyone in the Orvis store in Farnham you are doing far better than I have ever managed.
