It was -5 when I was setting of for Wherwell on Sunday. it had warmed up to -2 by the time we arrived.Sun was bright and trying to warm things up a bit as it eventually managed to do as it turned into a beautiful day . The Grayling must have appreciatted the sun's efforts as they were bang on form
with two of best fish going over the 2lb mark .Some large trout must have been training to get fit for the new season as a few beauties decided to join the fray. Agood day

This was saturday on the Dee.When i came out of the river my felt soles frooze. made walking just a tad difficult
