Default Grayling on Boxing day

Hi all, I am down staying in Tintangel over the xmas period and I was hoping for a Boxing day out on the grayling within 50/60 miles roughly of the village. Has anyone an idea where I might get a day on the 26th as I am heading home the next day.
Cheers Glyn

CHeck out the Angling 2000 scheme. The Tamar system has grayling in it.

It's been a few years since I last fished that far west so things may have changed but Angling2000 and the local clubs never used to be open for winter grayling fishing.

The Arundell Arms may be worth a look

Thanks for the replies lads I am going to give it a miss now..too near the time to arrange, yes Exerod I think your right i'm sure they stop end of Oct but I might be wrong. Looks like I will just have to drink my fishing sorrows away in the locals pubs instead in Tintangel this xmas..never mind . I am down for 4 nights I am sure the locals will keep me occupied some shape.

Very kind of you ACW but I am heading home that day..back in work the day after ugh . one day more and the house will be back to normal with the girlfriends parents going back home to London and then peace and quiet again. I will be back down this way in the new year after wild trout ( my thing ) with a bit of salmon fishing on my local Welsh rivers in between.
