Exclamation river clyde

a friend was up the clyde for grayling yesterday below hazelbank, caught nowt.but he was surprised that the water was running a dark /peaty colour.this is not normal for the clyde,it's usualy clear, anybody out there hear if there was any problems with tibutaries or mines.

The Moose runs dirty the slightest hint of rain. This trib runs into the Clyde up stream a bit.Not unusual.

Thats the one. Its probably dirty because it does run past Newmills!
Allegedly the Moose is stuffed full of Grayling, never fished it myself.

The water was pretty coloured at Mauldslie on Thursday. A wee tinge on both Friday and Saturday. I fished Abington yesterday and it was running clear.
