Default The Itchen

Went to the Itchen today, the river is full of grayling, Even I caught one.

The water is very clear, and it fished very well.

A good day out.

It will be interesting to hear more regularly about the Ichten. How are the levels holding up? The river has an ability to look good even at the driest times.

It's the lyrical content of the fishing reports on this thread that makes it a must-read.

Whaddya mean - these gentlemen are the Skues and Halford of the 21st century. Even our boy from Derbyshire contributes a valued post about the "Ichten".

Virtual copperplate it is.
