Eight of us fished the Derwent Angling Association waters on the Derwent at Shotley Bridge yesterday. What a lovely little river and at £6.00 for a day ticket excellent value for money. We caught and returned around 100 fish between us, all wild fish. As the day went on and the sun got higher it became a little difficult, the river running low and clear. Fish were caught on Klinkhammers, Parachute Adams, Hares Ears patterns and Tungsten Head PTN's. A good day on a great little river.
