Im going to go and fish the river bush on saturday with my club. Im not sure what to fish but i will be bringing a selection of flies. Any info on what flys to use and methods would be apreciated.

Is it the unrestricted stretch you are fishing Cromie?

You've a good chance of a salmon, as the river has had a big run of fish this year. The water will be down by now though.

There are plenty of trout in the river though.

I don't know what stretch im fishing ryan but im going to target some trout. Im just going to bring my small parachutes and some hare's ears.

The usual river flies should work.

I doubt if the salmon will be on form, not much rain on the horizon.

Have a look at the Town stretch, the big pool by the car park...its usually alive with salmon.

Just back from the bush, Brilliant wee river. Had to many fish to count on the wee small parachutes.
I only took 1 picture cause i was too bust fishing. I lost a few good big ones
