Couple of local suggestions;
Try Richard Slocock's beat of the Frome at Moreton - lovely spot, challenging fishing, I had my PB fly caught grayling of 1-12 out of there last October;

You could also ask Richard how the Piddle is fishing, it's well stocked with excellent wild browns and he has some fine beats in the middle stretches. It might be a bit weedy now but levels should have held up.
Or pop up to Avon Springs for a river and lake day, their 2/3 of a mile of the Avon is on a famous stretch fished in the past by Sawyer and Kite. Again nice grayling and browns and maybe some big rainbows too...
