Default Suir

Last week the river was running high and the fishing was not exactly easy
bead heads was the most productive method, the trout came to life around 10.30 pm for about a half an hour hunting sedges . Some good fish were caught best fish of our trip pound and quarter, although one of well over two pounds flung the hook on the third jump. I think the Suir is a wonderful river and I hoping for a early return. Some of the lads fished Currane
and over the long week-end were able to get only 6 hours fishing due to storm Almost drowned in getting those hours

Was on the Suir myself last week. See report posted under 'River Suir' thread on General Fly Fishing Topics.

River Suir

Agreed, a fabulous river.

Cheers,
