East Lothian Tyne brownies
For those who are interested - the EL Tyne is now at a perfect height and colour for fishing, at least it is until the next downpour. I was out this evening and caught a dozen or so brownies up to about a pound on dry fly (Tango's deadly paraloop pattern), all of them in excellent condition and fighting fit. Definitely some of the best fishing I have on the Tyne this season, and probably last season also. It is unusual to see the Tyne running at a good height and relatively clear at he same time in the summer. Make the most of it.
