Saw this sign today at either end of the Stepping Stones. Personally I thought that the "repair" on "elf & safety" grounds (or was it people getting their feet wet?) was ridiculous.

I'm not sure why this sign was there today but am I correct in thinking that the "bodged" repair has in itself been bodged???????

Anyone know more?

Actually I walked over them and couldn't feel that any of the stone tops were loose. Plenty of people were just crossing regardless.
