I can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to starting this thread....I was recently told that a couple of pals of mine were starting a new and exclusive syndicate on the Izaak Walton Hotel's stretch of the Dove at Dovedale, I was chuffed to bits when I was invited to join it!
I thought I would start this thread so that syndicate members could post any info that they want about recent experiences on the '
Living the Dream Fly Fishing Association' stretch of the lovely Dove, whether it be conditions, successful fly patterns, hatches, catches, amusing stories or just a little banter. Non members are also welcome to add content should they feel the desire to do so.
The two great chaps that we can thank for starting the syndicate are none other than John Tyzack and Glen Pointon.....the Dove at Dovedale has never been the same since they ceased fishing there a few months ago and now, thankfully, they'll be a regular sight on the banks of the lovely valley.
