Default Proper Job!

Secure parking alone is worth the membership fee, I've never fished Dovedale without wondering if my car windows were gonna be smashed on my return.
Plus a key to the gate (private bank) meaning no dogs bouncing of your waders every 2 mins either and a place to truly get away from Joe Public.

good luck to a good bunch of lad and no doubt I'll see you there soon enough

Mick

good work lads, National Trust were asking me if i knew anything about the new syndicate and I didnt at the start of the week, I can give them a decent warning about you lot now

just out of interest now you have a syndicate on that bank again, will someone keep an eye on my mink raft up there for me, as its on your bank (at least it was ) if its gone i can provide you with a new one to loving look after so it doesnt get trashed every five mins like it did when i used to have them on the other bank,

Cheers Lads

Charlie

If it's the mink raft that was sited not far from the crossing point then it's in a pretty sorry state and may even have gone completely by now.

will get it replaced this next month then, not been up to it since last autumn, it had been rebuilt several times already having been used for jumping on and obviously its good fun to cut it free and let if float downstream

Default Mink trap...

... has bitten the dust Charlie but we'll
gladly monitor and look after a new one. I think the floating raft was still there last week but the trap itself has gone.

Default Well done lads......

Nice one JT and Lord Rocher!

It will great to see you back on the Dove Glen, we have missed your shouts of encouragement(abuse) and gentlemanly behaviour(comments on passing walkers!) Sorry could not join you this time but that's the way life goes!

See you all on the river soon...Living the dream of course!

JT this probably means I get to organise my dry fly day in the summer at a suitable venue.

Ey Up Matt,

What a benefit to anglers....we won't have to go far for guiding from JT now....where better to get a bit of expert tuition in than in 'Pointon's Glen'?..now there's a place name we've not used for a long time....
