I'm off to near holsworthy devon in july, Any river trout fishing near by ?

Angling 2000 for beats on the upper Tamar and Torridge and their tribs http://www.angling2000.org.uk/

Try Half Moon at Sheepwash for the Torridge a bit lower down. The half Moon beats will also have sea trout.
