Mozzerfly, First of all I would point out that the beat is only available Monday, Wednesday and Friday so that in its self would make it look much busier than it is, that is not to say that it is not a fairly popular beat. I too had a look and noticed that there are a few single rods already booked up for the last couple of weeks in May, not surprising really as it should be in the height of the Mayfly, considering this is one of the few mainstem beats available, via day ticket, on a river that is know for it great hatches at this time of year and of all the beats available has the best access.
The advantage of the beat only being available three days a week, every other day, is that it will not have been fished the day before.
Anyway my best advice would be to get your booking in now.
