Default River DT fishing nr. Ambleside, Lake District

Hi all

Have got a week in Ambleside, Lake District, next week. Can anyone recommend any day ticket river fishing? Willing to look at local tarns if worthwhile too.

Many thanks

With regard to the Tarns, this could be helpful.

Have a look at the following, along with the link already provided you'll have pretty much covered all your options!

http://www.lakedistrictfishing.net/

If the rivers are unfishable then High Newton or Bigland Trout fishery are well worth a visit. They are both listed under Game - South Lakes and also provide directions (which may be worth printing off if you won't have access to a compuer while you're away).

Have a good week!
