Default River earn?

Can someone please tell me, Does a trout permit on the Earn allow fishing on all of the earn or is it on seperate beats?

And also where do i purchase a permit to fish between Dunning and The Bridge of Earn

below A9 Road bridge to forteviot bridge,i believe you get the ticket in the newsagent in dunning
from below(100yds) forteviot bridge to the railway bridge is dupplin estate .go to the estate office at aberdalgie(mrs jane smith now, formerly horn)
the earn is all different beats,would be great if they could get their act together like cornwall/north wests ticket system.

Only on selected beats i think mate. Kreid is a regular on it, so maybe drop him a pm. 3lb now your talking.

Ok I will do tweed. Can youse recommend a good stretch on the earn then? Even if it means travelling further i dont mind. Prefferably some where quieter as i dont want to be surrounded by salmon fishers. Or can you fish the earn on a sunday?

Try the Crieff Angling Club water, or the Comrie Angling Club. Both have long stretches on the mid/upper Earn.

Sea-trout are in fair numbers now on these waters.

There are large browns on the Earn, but hard to catch as is usual.

Oh and the tickets for the CAC are available Boyds Newsagent on King Street in Crieff. check out the website www.crieffanglingclub.org.uk
